On behalf of the Devdan foundation learning centre, I would like to welcome you to our website whether you’re a parent, educational consultant, therapist or prospective employee, I hope you’ll find our website informative and take the opportunity to know more about our school community. Over 18 years ago, Dhanya Ponnamma Uthappa (Chairperson) was working in Beautiful Gate Special School, Mysore where she saw boys and girls who struggled in traditional academics settings could find the safety and support to meet their full potential. That same vision is what drew her to start a school for special children and she began working on it and finally 10 years ago, the school Devdan (God’s Gift) was started. Today as a Director (Devdan Foundation Charitable Trust, Mysore), I’m proud of the tradition of excellence we continue to deliver to our students and families. Our school’s philosophy is founded on nurturing relationship-based approach that focuses on the individual social, emotional and academic needs of each student. This philosophy is reflected on our culture of dignity, respect, service and our commitment to developing strong minds and characters. From the moment you arrive on our campus located just 1kms from the Mysore City .....
